Today was another mass of cleaning. I vacuumed many more times. I did laundry. I put toys and books away in youngest's room...
The bug guys come tomorrow, thank goodness. I want these stinking fleas dead and gone! I will be vacuuming for many more days to ensure it. The pets look good, but I will NOT let my guard down!
On the brighter side of things, I saved up enough Best Buy Reward Zone points from paying for tuition to purchase a Kindle Fire!
Isn't it beautiful? Now, I will keep buying books because I am addicted to them. I love books. I love the feel, the smell, the look of them. My new Kindle will allow me to download my school texts for much cheaper and store some of the classics I need for class and teaching. The color version also allows for me to let youngest have some of her books to read. Cookbooks are fun, too. ;)
Okay, I admit it. The big reason I got it is because I don't have to share with hubbs. He is a technology klepto. Every time I bring something new in or he gets me a "gift" of something electronic, he "borrows" it and I never see it again. With this, that won't happen because the idea behind it is BOOKS. Hubbs does not read! And if I can avoid downloading Angry Birds, we will be set. ;)
