Group today met at our usual disco hot spot: Panera Bread. I was ready. I planned ahead and had a bowl of gluten-free cereal before I went. I knew breakfast would having thing for me unless I did some serious picking apart. Lunch, I could go for soup or salad if I wanted.
I was just excited to go for the chatter and a bit of solid work time. It was good chatter.
The ladies all enjoyed gluten-ous goodies while I waited for hunger to drive me into my fruit and yogurt parfait as I sipped happy java.
And honestly, what java isn't happy? Spilled? Oh! Decaf!
I added about 200 words to my continuing-to-edit novel. And I got quality time. What could be better?
I also came home to make dinner and work with my "sourdough starter" which I am about to put in the oven. No joke! I believe I figured out the errors in the recipe, so I am much more optimistic. After cooking, I will post pics.
Tomorrow is also my first day of the Spring semester at school. Yay? Hmm. Not so sure...
Okay, accountability: at least 3/4 mile with the pup and a power-walk speed. Not bad at all. Gotta go. Battery almost...out....
